Rome conquered foreign lands with the sword, and they romanized them by infrastructure. Streets, monuments, baths, aqueducts, forts and watchtowers were built in the provinces. With the help of slaves and the army, the Romans built whole villages and towns and created an empire of stone. Specialized architects, craftsmen and technicians were in the army as immunes exempt from military service and catered alone to build the infrastructure.
The set Roman Workers and Construction includes 56 figures in 1/72 scale. Included are construction workers and builders with tunic, soldiers in uniform as overseer, surveyors with Groma and various accessories. The figures are an asset to any roman construction site from the Via Appia to the aqueduct!
