Replica of a find with an elongated fitting plate from a private collection. The buckle is based on an original from the 7th century, the ornamentation with the developed animal style refers to probably Visigothic origins.
Length approx. 90mm, suitable for a belt width of 25 mm. On the back of the fitting plate are two eyelets, with which the buckle can be sewn on the leather or simply attached by pins made of wood or metal.
