This early medieval belt buckle is a reconstruction of an original of the 8th - 10th century AD provided to us by a private collector. The andropomorphic motif is crafted in openwork, the (coloured?) leather is visible behind the buckle. The buckle is sewn to the belt leather with flaps at the backside of the buckle, but it can also secured by small bolts (included). No rivets needed.
Size 70 x 35mm, handcrafted from real bronze. Leather sold separately.
