This copy of an typical byzantine cross pendant of the 10th - 12th century AD measures ca. 40 x 25 mm. The original was placed to our disposal by a private collector (pic. 2).
The pendant is a massive cast, decorated with a simple depiction of the crucified Christ. The backside is decorated with an greek inscription, the translation means: "Lord, help the one who carries me!"
Handcrafted from massive Bronze, delivered with leather thong.
