Celtic Ring With Face Depiction

Immerse yourself in the mystical world of the Celts with this extraordinary Celtic finger ring, which is not just jewellery but a genuine historical work of art. Inspired by an archaeological find from the 4th century BC, which can now be admired in the renowned Metropolitan Museum in New York, this ring combines the fascination of the Celtic past with high-quality craftsmanship.

Handcrafted from solid silver
This unique ring was lovingly handcrafted in our own workshop. Forged from solid silver, it captivates with its detailed depiction of a human mask with a moustache and a mistletoe crown - a symbol that is known from numerous depictions of the early Latène period. The filigree workmanship and authentic design make this ring a special piece of jewellery for connoisseurs and lovers of Celtic culture.

A piece of history for your collection
The original ring that served as inspiration was probably found in Bohemia and ended up in a private collection in Munich in the 1960s. After several changes of ownership, it finally found its way to the Metropolitan Museum, where it continues to mesmerise visitors to this day. With this re-creation ring, you can bring a piece of this fascinating history into your home - perfect for museum visitors, archaeologists, historical groups or simply for anyone who loves the Celtic past.

Bohemia - A centre of Celtic culture in the Latène period
Bohemia, now part of the Czech Republic, played an important role as a cultural and economic centre for the Celts in the Latène period (around 450 BC to the turn of the millennium). The region was home to the Celtic tribe of the Boii, after whom Bohemia was later named. The Boii were known for their mastery of craftsmanship, particularly in metalworking, and produced a variety of ornate jewellery, weapons and everyday objects.

Archaeological finds from Bohemia, including filigree jewellery, coins and ritual objects, bear witness to a highly developed society with far-reaching trade relations. The Celtic settlements in Bohemia were not only important trading centres, but also places of spiritual significance where rituals and festivals were held. The Celtic finger ring with its mask depiction is therefore part of the tradition of this rich cultural and craft heritage and connects you with one of the most fascinating periods in Celtic history.

A piece of jewellery with deep meaning
The mistletoe crown on the mask refers to the spiritual and ritual significance of mistletoe in Celtic culture, which was often regarded as a symbol of healing, protection and connection to the Otherworld. The ring is therefore not only an aesthetic accessory, but also a powerful symbol for those who feel connected to Celtic spirituality.

For lovers of the extraordinary
Whether as the highlight of your personal jewellery collection, as an authentic accessory for historical representations or as a special gift for history enthusiasts - this Celtic finger ring is a timeless statement of individuality and style.
