Celtic ring with tendril pattern
Discover the fascinating beauty of our handcrafted finger ring, inspired by an archaeological find from the Celtic period. This exquisite ring embodies the splendour and cultural heritage of the Celtic civilisation and testifies to their penchant for ornate personal jewellery.
Gold rings from the early Latène period (4th to 5th century BC) are extremely rare and were often discovered in the tombs of the elite, which emphasises the uniqueness of this piece. Carefully handcrafted in our own workshop, this ring combines the mysterious world of the Celts with traditional craftsmanship. The material used for the solid ring with its sculptural decoration is the highest quality 925 silver.
The all-round decoration of this ring, which is available in sizes 65 (approx. 20.8 mm diameter) and 57 (approx. 18.5 mm diameter), shows impressive tendril patterns typical of the early Latène period. The sculpted ornamentation is reminiscent of the abstraction of a face or head and gives the ring an unmistakable identity.
Inspired by an original find in the Metropolitan Museum in New York, which comes from the renowned Hatzenbuehler Collection, this ring not only offers aesthetic beauty, but also a link to history. The original piece was owned by a private individual in Regensburg until 1969 and was transferred to the museum in 2009.
An extraordinary piece of jewellery for lovers of Celtic history and individual designs. Other sizes can be customised on request to guarantee a perfect fit. Wear a piece of history with style and elegance!
