Late Roman Ring Chi Rho, Gold 585
This replica of a late Roman finger ring is inspired by an original find from Trechtingshausen at the Rhine river in Germany. The decorative plate shows the Greek letters Chi and Rho written one inside the other. As the first letter of "Christ", the sign has been used as a symbol of Christianity since late antiquity. The inscription "Vivas in Deo" literally means "May you live in God". Interestingly, VIVAS is written in mirror image, but IN DEO in plain text. The ring is made of solid 585 yellow gold and is made in your desired size. The weight is between 8 and 10 grams, depending on the size.
