This extraordinary jewellery pendant is based on a high-precision cast of an original artefact from the Saalburg Museum's collection. The historical model from the 2nd to 3rd century is an old find from the Roman Limes fort at Zugmantel and was probably once used as a decorative pendant on a decorative fitting for horse bridles – a small but impressive testimony to Roman craftsmanship and equestrian culture.The pendant is carefully crafted by hand using traditional methods from genuine solid 925 silver.
