Set of small buckle and belt tongue after finds from the late 6th century. Handmade of solid silver, size 50 x 33 mm, with cast-on rivet pins. Supplied ready to assemble with washers, without leather. Suitable for a belt width of 20 mm.

Coming from the eastern steppes, the mounted people of the Avars often invaded Western Europe in the early Middle Ages and plundered vast areas of land. However, relics from this period are quite rare. Coming from the north, Scandinavian traders of the Viking Age often clashed with their warlike neighbors. In the 7th century, their sphere of influence stretched from the Baltic Sea to the Volga.
