"Stone box graves belong to the typical grave forms of the Late Bronze Age (1,200 - 750 BC) in the Lower Maing area. Such a grave with a rich inventory was cleared as early as 1873 in the Heldenberger Gewann Gänshohl, another in 1905 near today's retirement home. The latter can become a settlement that lay under the arcade courtyard and the new town hall. In addition to fragments of the finest vessels, there was a bronze needle, a bronze lance tip and tools made of stag horn and bone, as well as references to a pottery workshop. "
