Enameled Belt Plate Richborough, Bronze

In the late 1st century, belt fashion changed drastically in the Roman military. There are now narrow belt straps, which were studded with a few plates, which, according to the taste of the time, often had colored glass inlays made of enamel.
The original of our reconstruction comes from a middle layer of the trench of the wood and earth fort at Richborough, GB, which means that it can be dated to the early 2nd century.
