The buckle is a reconstruction of an original provided to us by a private collector. The belt-plate was made after some originals from Vindonissa (cat. no. 1841 / 1842), some drawings are depicted in Peter Connolly´s famous book "The Roman Army". This buckle was used for our reconstructed roman horse harness, but it is also suitable for sword baldrics. Handcrafted from solid 925 silver, supplied with rivets and instructions. Fits leather belts of 20mm in width, length ca. 60mm.
