This type of earrings was popular during the 2nd and 3rd century. The upper part is called Tutulus, the name derives from a circular ancient head dress. An original with slightly irregular surface was placed to our disposal by a private collector.
The coloured glass beads are handcrafted in roman techniques, the earring is provided with a modern finding, but on special request it can be replaced by an authentic wire. The beads are available in red, green and blue, the earrings are handcrafted from high quality 925 silver and will be delivered in a gift-box. Length without earring finding ca. 40 mm.
