Splendid sealring with two dolphins, animals of the goddess Venus (greek Aphrodite), separated by a column. Images of Amor-figures riding on dolphins were widespread used in the ancient art for mosaics and wallpaintings. Amor or Cupid (greek Eros) was a son of Venus and the god who was responsible for falling in love. The ring plate can be used for sealing. The original was given at our disposal by a private collector. Handcrafted from solid 925 silver!
