Roman Settlement, paper craft kit
Cardboard model kit for a Roman settlement in scale 1:160 (model railway N scale), size 42 x 30 x 7 cm.
In Roman times, villages and towns were usually planned and built in a square system. Many of these settlements served as the main towns of administrative districts, such as Nida (Frankfurt Heddernheim) for the Civitas Taunensium. Larger cities such as ancient Xanten (Colonia Ulpia Trajana) also followed this principle. In an idealised form, streets, a temple and various residential buildings have been put together in this kit.
Cardboard construction sheet with components to cut out, fold and glue. Difficulty level 1 (from 0 - 3, easy), consisting of 6 sheets. The craft set includes high-quality, colourfully printed craft sheets, instructions and building tips. Very detailed, suitable for the model builder, for building dioramas or for teaching projects at schools or museums.
