Viking Key Pendant, Bronze
This decorative key is a reconstruction of find no. SHM 6819:535 from the Historiska Museet in Stockholm, Sweden. The key is handcrafted in openwork style and decorated with animal heads in Borre-style. The original was used for a lock at a chest or a box, but it had also an adorning function or was even used as an amulet for fortune. The eyelet is our modern addition and makes a use as a modern pendant much more comfortable. It can be removed on customer´s demand.
Made of real bronze in original size (length 60 mm).
