This pseudo ring brooch has been found at Alkvie Ägor in the municipality of Endre on Gotland. Ring brooches of this extremely elaborate type are always unique pieces, comparable specimens come from Birka.
The reconstruction is made of a variety of materials such as brass and silver with inlays of black enamel and partial gilding. The ring has its finial in a Borre-style animal head. This functional and colourful reproduction is certainly one of the highlights in my assortment!
